Shadowbox for a friend

I recently made a framed scrapbook page for a friend. She's been a BFF for 26 years, ever since we met on the first day of college as roommates. She has been fighting Stage 3 breast cancer for about 14 months now and doing remarkably well - she has a true fighting spirit. I was intimidated making something that I wanted to be so special, but this is what I came up with (indeed, she cried when I gave it to her).
Cardstock: SU Morning Marigold, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Core d'nations teal CS
Ink: SU Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Morning Marigold
Ribbon: Misc. (sewed 2 together)
Patterned paper: Bo Bunny
Flowers by Prisma
Butterflies: large by Quickutz, smaller are paper punches by EK Success and Marvy
Other punches: Fiskars Threading Water, SU's spiral notebook punch
Stamps: SU Simply Said, SU French Script, plus misc. small typewriter alphabet
